One of our favorite coffee places to visit in Delaware is Brew HaHa. Despite the fact that there are multiple locations in Delaware, each location feels jut as local and homey as the next.
Recently, we went to BrewHaha on a Saturday morning when we did not have a lot planned. There was a family barbeque that we were heading to later, but other than that, we didn’t have to get up exceptionally early or weren’t cramped for time. We were able to get up when we wanted and truly ease into our day. It was a nice change of pace for us – especially heading into a busy season both at work and in our personal lives because I’ll be continuing my weekend Korean classes soon.
We got up when we were well-rested and drove down that morning to get a cup of coffee and some light bites for brunch. Our go-to’s are the garlic bagel with our coffees of choice, but by the time we got down there they were all out of them. If you’re ever in the area, I’d definitely recommend that you try their garlic bagels – especially when they’re fresh. They’re toasty on the outside, softer on the inside, and there’s so much delicious garlicky flavor that it’s the one thing we always order when we go without question. However, since they sold out of our favorites, I opted for a turkey wrap and my husband got a pumpernickel bagel with cream cheese.
After we finished eating we went for a little drive down to Old New Castle to explore some of the free museums there and walk alongside the river.
