“A Photo Story” is a “quick read” blog series on A Cup of Kims that features some of our photographs taken during our trips with the focus being on the photography.
One of our favorite things to do together is to go on drives. Even if it’s just for an hour, we love going on drives to see what’s new around the neighborhood or explore a neighboring town. When we’re both off and do not have any scheduled events or activities, we hop in the car, grab a cup of caffeinated goodness along the way and head on the road. It’s something that we both look forward to because we spend a lot of time catching up on podcasts we didn’t get to listen to during the week, having conversations about life, or just enjoying the views along the way.
Recently, we went on a drive that resulted in us walking through Chestertown, Maryland, which neither of us had ever been to. Its a quaint town with a lot of character and it’s not that far from the bay. While we, unfortunately, did not get to spend much time exploring since we had to wake up early the next morning, we did get to enjoy a nice little walk and admire some of the buildings, small stores, and views of the water!
