Although I have stopped trying to label my style whether it be fashion or home decor, many of the decorative items I find myself most drawn too tend to fall within the classic or “grand-millennial” category. This can typically be categorized as being similar to the “Coastal Grandma” aesthetic that went viral last summer. Many of the items within this category are typically classic, timeless, and stylish yet focused primarily on comfort and coziness. It’s maximalist, and some of the decor is often purposeful or put there for sentimental reasons. In some ways, it should feel like a breath of fresh air and the comfort feeling you feel when walking into your grandmother’s house.
Now, I’ll admit that our house still has some work to be done in that area – namely our living room, but as I remind myself, it takes years to make a house a home and there isn’t really a rush or a need to rush to do so. As we continue to add things to our space in hopes of making it more cozy, I occasionally browse for certain items or come across things that I quickly find myself adding to my wish-lists to purchase later. Here’s a peek into some of the items I’ve spotted recently and that you may love too.
