Since we’ve been trying to enjoy fall activities while social distancing, we’ve had to get creative with our activities this year. Long gone are the days of attending fall festivals – at least until things are safer. In the meantime, we’ve been going on a lot of drives, doing some socially distanced activities away from large crowds and doing some more of the activities we listed in this post. One of those activities includes trying some local fall-themed lattes from some of our favorite shops.
We tried fall-flavored lattes and decided to share some of our favorites that we think you’ll love, too! While the local coffees are local to The Greater Philadelphia region (also known as the Delaware Valley), there are some chain coffee shops we visited that have some drinks we’d recommend!

LOCAL COFFEES
Harvest Moon Drink from BrewHaha:
You HAVE to try the Harvest Moon Latte with white mocha, caramel, and pumpkin from BrewHaha. Y’all. It’s so creamy, sweet, with the right amount of pumpkin spice added to it.
White Mocha and Pumpkin Latte From Legal Coffee Grounds:
This latte from Legal Coffee Grounds in Elsmere is one that you HAVE to try if you’re in the area.
PUMPKIN SPICED LATTE FROM DRIP CAFE:
Another Delaware recommendation, but their PSL is absolutely delicious. I believe they use pumpkin puree as opposed to a syrup, because I got little chunks of what I think were pumpkin and some of their spices in every sip. It’s full of flavor and is definitely one of the most decadent pumpkin spiced lattes I’ve had.
ORANGE CREAMSICLE LATTE FROM FUNCTION COFFEE LABS:
This isn’t a “fall” drink so-to-speak, but it’s a drink that is currently available at Function Coffee Labs as I’m writing this post for those of you interested. It tastes exactly like it sounds and by the third sip I was hooked. I never imagined that I would actually a citrus-flavored coffee drink, but I enjoyed it quite a lot and would recommend it to you.
CARAMEL APPLE FROM LEGAL GROUNDS:
This drink is a recommendation from Han, who had this recently and really, really liked. Despite it’s name, it’s not a cider, but is a coffee drink that somehow marries the flavors that you’d expect in an apple cider into a coffee and it’s quite delicious.

CHAIN COFFEES
OAT MILK LATTE FROM LA COLOMBE:
Although this isn’t technically a fall-flavored drink, it is a drink that we’d highly recommend you try, if you haven’t already. It’s creamy, delicious, and with a little bit of added sugar to taste (or without) you get a nice full-bodied drink that’s perfect for the cooler months. Also, La Colombe has Pumpkin Spice Draft Lattes that you can order as well!
APPLE CRISP Macchiato from Starbucks:
This may be an unpopular opinion, but I absolutely love this drink. It tastes like fall in a cup. I love apples and the drink surprisingly works well to me with the coffee as I was worried it’d just taste like apple juice. The brown sugar is a wonderful addition to it.
PUMPKIN OAT MILK LATTE FROM DUNKIN DONUTS:
I was surprised by how much I liked their Pumpkin Oat Milk Latte. Perhaps it was because of who made it, but it has seriously become one of my favorite lattes from them. It’s right up there with the Peppermint Mocha Latte.
THE ‘WAP’ FROM STARBUCKS:
This coffee recommendation comes specifically from Billy Penn, which posted an article before the fall season started about this deliciously, harvest-inspired latte. The acronym, which is a nod to the song, stands for its ingredients that include white chocolate, almond milk, and pumpkin spice. It’s delicious and reminds me of the Harvest Moon drink from BrewHaha.
Those are some of our recommendations. What are yours?
