FALL MOOD BOARD
I have been thinking about the fall season, which is now a little over a week away, since July. I know, that’s probably a little too early to start thinking about the fall season, but with the return of pumpkin spice candles in stores and Target’s Halloween presale, I’ve already been thinking of beginning to pin fall-related things.
Fall is my favorite time of year for a lot of reasons.
Perhaps it’s the crispness of the air, the changing colors on the leaves, the apple cider and layers, but it’s by far my favorite time of the year.
I don’t know if you are a fall person or someone who loathes that time of year, but maybe some of these things will get you in the mood for the season.
Clothes
Honestly, a lot of what has been inspiring me lately has consisted of plaids, deep burgundy, leopard print, black watch plaids and of course navy. I feel like I wear navy all year round because it’s one of my favorite colors. In fact, for the most part, many of my outfits during the fall are similar. I love layering and wearing sweaters during the fall, but it’s rare I experiment with prints on my bottoms, but lately, I’ve been all about it. Excited to wear some similar bottoms this fall.

Activities

Between football, family time, seasonal food and coffee, my heart and belly feel so full this time of year. Whether we’re picking apples or smelling them through a scented candle, the treats, activities, and smells of this time of year are my favorite. I cannot wait to do some of my favorite fall activities drinking apple cider, going to a pumpkin patch, eating or making seasonal pies, and snuggling up under the blanket with a good fall movie.
free travel tips
Speaking of fall, one of our favorite things to do during the fall season is to travel. We love visiting different towns to experience how the celebrate the fall season. However, we’re not rolling in dough, so we found that in order do so we had to come up with a way to do it without breaking the bank.
