It feels like we just shared a Fresh Pressed Edit and that’s probably because we did a few weeks ago. We’re hoping to be more regular with these, but as we shared in the previous edition, it’s a lot going on right now. However, we’re so thankful that we’ve gotten to spend some time with family during the weekends! Both of us are truly so appreciative and thankful for each of our family members, so spending time with them is always something we both look forward to.
In addition to some things we’ve looked forward to, here are some things we’ve enjoyed recently.
We don’t read as much as we like to or at least, we haven’t lately, so we’re still on “Pachinko” and “The Vanishing Half.” They’re both good, though!
“Rotten” is still our favorite podcast. to listen to at the moment, but we got some recs recently for some podcasts that we’re hoping to check out.
I’ve been catching up on “The Bachelorette” but we’ve both been watching a lot of ID Discovery shows, lately.
This post sharing some delicious bagel spots that we’re definitely adding to our “must-try” list.
Another beautiful home project from Victoria that’s got me looking at furniture in our home and thinking of doing something similar.
Some information about what’s going on in Cuba.
This article from NPR interviewing a Haitian rapper about his project “Pray for Haiti.”
You know we’re always on the hunt for a good latte. Loved this recipe from Alex and Mike and will have to try it!
- Rainbow after the storm: It poured recently and for the first time in a long time, I saw a rainbow after the storm. Aside from the fact that rainbows are always pretty cool to see in person, seeing it has me feeling a little hopeful. Like God is sending me a reminder of His presence and that everything I’m worried or nervous about is going to work out.
- New presets in the works: I’ve been working on some new presets, one that I shared recently as a freebie for our newsletter subscribers and this is one of the ones I’m thinking of sharing as a part of a future pack. This photograph is from a walk we had sometime last month. We took photos that I’ve been using to make new presets with.
- Comics Galore: I found these comics while going through my old stuff at my parent’s house. They wanted me to clean out my childhood closet so they could make room for some new things, so as I was going through it I found my collection of comics. It’s smaller than most, but a lot larger than I remember it being. Now, I’m working on trying to find a cool way to display some of them and keep some of them from getting damaged.
- *NSYNC Posters: Speaking of cleaning out my closet, as I was doing so, my mom had these posters that I honestly forgot I still had, waiting for me in my old bedroom. If you know me, you know how much I LOVED (and honestly still love) *NSYNC. I already told my husband that these are definitely getting framed and display in some sort of quirky way in the house. I can’t throw these out.
