This month has been all about trying to get some things done around the house that we’ve been meaning to such as organizing areas we’ve shrugged over for the first year or so we’ve lived here. I don’t know what has gotten into me specifically, but I’ve felt very motivated to get things organized in a way that’s functional. Right now things have a place, but not all of them are places that make sense so we end up still having to move things around to find it. The goal is to hopefully have things organized so we don’t have to do that as often or at all. We’ll see.
Speaking of this year, there’s some goals and things we hope will happen this year! We also have ideas for this blog that we’re working on and some changes we’re hoping to make on it such as our Fresh Pressed Edit! We’re in the process of going through and deleting some of our older ones that don’t have any relevant links in them anymore and changing up the format of it a bit – similar to what you’re seeing as you’re reading this now.
Enough of my rambling – here’s what we’ve been loving and reading, lately.
CURRENTLY
READING
I’m currently trying to finish up “Posh” a book I purchased at a Thrift Store years ago. About halfway finished! So far it’s alright.
LISTENING
We’re currently listening to Barack Obama’s new book “A Promised Land” in Audible. This one is gonna take us a while.
WATCHING
Dateline has been one of our frequently watched shows, lately.

LINKS
I loved reading Alex and Mike’s holiday decor post! Although the holidays are over, I recently saw this post and was so amazed with how beautifully they decorated every part of their home.
I loved her tips for making a DIY Care Package! It seems like a nice way to spread love to loved ones – especially those who are currently living alone.
Love these organization tips! We’re planning on organizing parts of our home starting this month and this post was helpful in deciding where we’d like to start.
We’ve probably linked this in a previous post, but we’ve been loving J.L Jupiter’s YouTube account. My husband, who’s never on Instagram, even utilized our page to message him some recommendations, haha. Here’s a video featuring a place we hope to try one day.
I love what Alisa is planning to do to her living room. I’m excited to see what she comes up with!
Loved these suggestions for coffee table books in every color! We don’t have a coffee table, but I’ve been thinking of getting a decorative book for my nightstand to put one of our vases on top of.
This book list of anticipated books is definitely giving me some things to add to my Goodreads for this year! Loved a lot of these suggestions for books and have added them to my wish-list! I haven’t been keeping up with my Goodreads account, but here’s to hopefully using it more!
