‘Tis the season, indeed!
Can you believe it’s already Christmas?
It seemed like this year has gone by so quickly! As with most holidays, I find myself feeling pretty reflective this time of year. What are some things I’ve been hoping to accomplish since this time last year? How have we grown?
This year represents a lot for us – especially when it comes to this space.
It was the year that I finally rebranded and we created a blog together after thinking about doing so for so long. It was a big step and I sacrificed a lot of my former blog views (and resulted in a lot of 404 pages), but it was one of the best decisions we could’ve made for this space.
It was the year that we tried to get more serious about the various things we could offer our audience for free.
It was the year I started investing even more in my photography.
It was the year we tried new things creatively.
It was the year that we finally got to travel to one of the places we’ve been wanting to travel to for the first time and visit some of our favorite cities.
It was the year we pushed ourselves out there more, which resulted in us getting to interact with some pretty cool people, like you!

While there were definitely some hard moments, many of which we have not shared anywhere, there were some really joyous ones. We created some amazing memories in 2019 and I am looking forward to all of the wonderful moments this next year will have. I’m praying that 2020 will be one of the best years yet!
While there is another post we have planned between now and New Year’s Eve, we thought it would be special to take the time and say thank you. Thank you for those of you who have followed along with us through the blog changes, through us trying out different things, and sharing our experiences with you who read this blog. Every email, message, prayer, tweet, and view means a lot to us, so we are very grateful for you.
As cheesy as it sounds, one of the many things we’re thankful for is the little community we’ve created on our blog, is you all. Whether you’re a silent reader or someone who interacts with us online, we are thankful for you and excited that you’re here.
From our family to yours, we want to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a happy holiday!
