Christmastime is here and it feels like this year has truly flown by. It seems like it was just yesterday that we were all ringing in the new year, making our goal lists for 2023 and now we’re preparing for another holiday season. There’s so much we love about this season and so much that we’re looking forward to as begin to refine our goal lists for the new year.
However, there will be time for us to update you on things we’ve been working on behind the scenes. Today, we want to thank you. Whether you’re a casual reader, a new reader, or someone who visits our website frequently to read our latest posts, we’re thankful for you.
A lot of why we decided to manage a blog together and share our favorite travel and budget-friendly lifestyle finds is because we know that not everyone (ourselves included) have the budget to travel far every year or at all. You may want to experience more of what other places have to offer, but you cannot afford to travel globally at this time.
There’s SO much to do locally and domestically and we wanted to share those things with you, because at least for us – they tend to appease our travel bugs without us having to break the bank to do it. We don’t consider ourselves influencers – we just like to share some of the amazing, budget-friendly finds and experiences we’ve had in hopes of giving you some ideas for things that you can also do. We hope we’ve been successful at doing that.
We get so excited when we receive emails and messages from you, because you’re one of the reasons why we share these posts. We may not have the largest readership on the internet, but we definitely have the coolest.
We’re going to be taking a short break from the blog until after the New Year. There aren’t any new posts scheduled to go out during that time, so things will be a bit quiet until then.
If the holidays are difficult for you, we hope that you’re able to experience comfort and that you’re surrounded by people who care for you. We hope that you’re able to still find glimpses of joy in the little things around you or in a good TV show or comfort food. We hope that you’re surrounded by reminders of how loved you are. Thinking of you.
We hope that this holiday season brings all of you reading this, so much joy and love.
