Mobile Lightroom Presets
Something that quite a few of you have been asking about our mobile presets. While I’ve focused primarily on desktop presets, many of you who are subscribed to our newsletter have indicated that you’re actually a Lightroom Mobile Preset user. As a result, we are working on updating some of our older presets for mobile devices (including the ones we posted on our store) and creating new ones specifically for the mobile version of Adobe Lightroom.
Speaking of updating some of our older ones, we are slowly but surely releasing all of our desktop presets to be available for the mobile application and the first one we are sharing is our Cafe in Philly preset!
The Cafe in Philly preset was inspired by the photographs we’ve taken at various cafes around the city. This preset pack, which is compromised of one cool-toned preset and two warm ones is my go-to for shooting indoor photography at cafes, restaurants, and even museums such as the mansions we’ve visited. In fact, many of the mansions we visited in Newport were edited using this preset.
I love that depending on which one of the three presets I use, the lighting and the hues in the photograph, it gives my photograph a nice a creamy, warm vibe or one with a moodier hue. It also works well with my husband’s skin tone and my own with little extra modifying needed. As a black woman, finding presets that flatter my skin tone and don’t turn me into either an Oompa Loompa or a grey piece of bread is often hard to come by. After struggling to find the right presets for my tone, I decided to create some of my own and share some of my favorites with you!
In short, by purchasing this preset, you’ll be using one of the many presets that I frequently use and personally love.
I will mention that as with all presets, there may be some modification necessary to get to the exact look that you’re looking for, simply because we all come in different, beautiful shades and have undertones. However, I think this preset may be a helpful starting point in editing your photographs.
