Around the time of my birthday, my husband and I went to visit a new-to-us spot named Artillery Brewing. We were in Delco, looking for a place to eat at with outdoor seating since the place we originally planned to dine wasn’t allowing guests to sit outside in their outdoor seating area that day. It was a nice day outside, and we wanted to spend some time with our daughter, enjoying the fresh air and some delicious eats. A short Google search led us to Artillery Brewing in Drexel Hill, PA. We called, asked them if they had any tables available for two adults and a toddler, and we headed on our way.
The Ambiance
Although we have been in that area before, this was our first time noticing the brewery with its brick exterior, outdoor gaming area, and ample outdoor seating. When you walk up from the parking lot, you’re first greeted with their outdoor game area where you can play. It’s very casual, clean with a very modern aesthetic on the inside and outside of the restaurant.
The Service
On both occasions, the service was great and quick! We didn’t wait long to be greeted after we were led to our table and it wasn’t long after we ordered that we received our appetizers. They were very kind to us and our daughter, who with one serve in particular (I wish I could remember their name) was one of her favorite people there that day as she was very talkative and playful with her. They answered our questions and provided us with recommendations for items that they loved the most after we expressed that it was our first time there. Overall, the service was very nice.
The Food
The food was phenomenal. As a self-proclaimed fried pickle connoisseur, let me just say that I loved the fried pickles there. Crispy with the right amount of salt and the dip they served on the side was flavorful too. The first time we went I ordered the Cuban Sandwich, which was recommended by the waitress, and my husband ordered the roast pork both times. The second time I ordered the crab dip nachos and those were delicious as well. The price is what you would anticipate for a brewery and you get quite a lot of bang for your buck with the serving sizes. I was shocked at how large and thick my Cuban sandwich was!

Would You Recommend It?
We’d recommend this place! In fact, shortly after our second visit, we were planning to go again perhaps for my mother’s birthday, but ended up going elsewhere for the time being. It was very delicious and definitely a place we see ourselves visiting again in the future.
