We usually don’t do this, but with the year we’ve all had, we wanted to reflect on some of the positives that occurred this year – including this blog. Here are some of the posts that some of you loved the most this year!

Shop Cheap Preppy Clothes on a Budget
This has been one of our most popular posts for years! Although our blog does not focus on fashion, I used to post more fashion-related posts and this is one of the ones that I decided to keep because it’s still true. I still shop at these places when I do shop for clothes.

Presets for All: Free Presets for Darker Skin Tones
This was the opt-in that started our decision for me to start sharing more photography-related posts and presets. A lot of you not only loved this post, but loved this free opt-in and it made me realize that many of you also felt there was a need for more presets for women with darker skin tones like my own. I admit that I need do a better job at promoting my photography and preset-related posts and our store, but it’s definitely one of the things I’m most proud about starting.

Where to Find Unedited Raw Photographs to Practice With
This one is another photography-related post we shared, sharing a resource I discovered recently while searching for unedited RAW images to use during the quarantine. I couldn’t go out to photograph other people because of everything going on but wanted to add more variety to my presets.

Black Preppy Bloggers to Follow
I shared this post in January, but it gained some traction sometime after June. While there’s many more where this list came from, it features some of my favorite bloggers that I personally follow. Feel free to view if you’d like!

Brew Review: Function Coffee Labs in Philadelphia
One of our favorite coffee shops in Philadelphia has been a popular post this year! A lot of you wanted to find out more about what we thought of this placed and to this day, it’s one of our most popular “Brew Review” posts. It’s definitely a cafe you’d want to visit if you’re in the area!

Pretty Cafes: Felix Roasting Co in Manhattan, New York
This is definitely one of the prettiest cafes we’ve visited and a lot of you thought so, too! The funny thing is that this cafe looks totally different now because they did work on it during quarantine, so we’ll have to visit again once it’s safe to and hopefully once things go back to normal. Here’s what it used to look like if you’re curious as to why we called it a “pretty cafe.”

Fall Mood Board for Clothing, Decor, and Activities
This was another post that I wrote on my old blog, but never deleted and it seems to be a pretty popular post. I wasn’t expecting it to be something that a lot of you liked this year, but it seems that especially during the fall season, many of you were interested in some fall inspiration.

Celebrating Diversity with Tru-Color Bandages
This was one of the posts that I was also surprised was popular this year, but it’s one of my favorite collaborations I’ve done before my husband and I created this blog together. I truly believe in the mission of this brand and still use their bandages today.

Coffee at Home: How to Make a Peppermint Latte Without Syrup
This is one of my favorite ways to make a peppermint latte now. It’s easy and tastes the best! No syrup needed and it seems like quite a lot of you agreed this year. Check it out if you haven’t and let me know what you think!
Those are some of our most popular posts of this year! We’d love to hear from you! Was there a post we shared that wasn’t mentioned that resonated with you? Feel free to share below, if you’d like!
