Looking for things to do at home? You’ll love these activities you can do and recipes you can make while spending time at home!
I know this goes without saying, but things have definitely been looking and feeling very different around the world. The world as we know it has changed drastically in the matter of a couple of weeks. While we’re primarily travel-focused, we do frequently share budget-friendly lifestyle posts on everything from creating your own cafe night at home to home decor and more!
We thought that in today’s post, it would be beneficial to share some posts we’ve shared over the years detailing some ideas and activities you can do whilst spending time at home. We’re also going to share some of our favorites from some other bloggers who have shared their favorite things to do at home.
One of my personal favorite posts is one that features my personal tips for planning a coffee night at home. While the intent of this post was originally for planning a fun event with friends, this can work for a nice family or date night as well! Read the original post to discover what goes into planning the ones I would often plan for work!
This coffee recipe is one of my personal favorites as well. It’s delicious, minty and a great way to enjoy a nice flavorful latte at home. In fact, I may make this one sometime this week while I’m working from home.
If you love salads, you’ll love this deliciously simple salad. It’s actually my mother’s original recipe, but it’s so so good. It’s one of my favorite salads to make at home when we have the ingredients. My mouth is watering just looking at the photograph above.
If you’re planning to do some home updates around the house and considering a nice way to spruce the space up a bit, consider getting some removable wallpaper for your home. I love bold prints and when paired with the right things it can really transform a space.
This post was previously on the old blog that I had before we decided to share a blog together, but a lot of the information still applies. Sometimes just adding a new coat of paint or transforming some of the hardware on the cabinets can really transform a space.
This post is another one that was previously on my old blog, but it shares some things that you should definitely invest in if you are in a new home or apartment. I know quite a few people have purchased homes and started new leases recently, so if any of that applies to you, now is a good time to try to purchase some of these essentials you may need while at home.
Although this is intended for Valentine’s Day, many of the ideas are applicable for any time of year because these are date night ideas you can do at home on a budget. Whether it’s game night or coffee night, we have some ideas for you that you can whip up for family or significant other.
Speaking of date night ideas, we have another one (in my DJ Khaled voice) that was written when I had my own blog, sharing some additional date night ideas you can try with your significant other at home. I may have to tap into some of these myself the next week or so.
Whether you’re a photographer, blogger, or someone who enjoys photographing things as a hobby, we sometimes share some tips that I’ve learned since taking up photography quite a few years ago. While I am not an expert and there are still things I’d like to buy as add-ons, there are editing tips I’ve learned along the way that have helped me. Browse our photography tag to learn some of the tips I’ve offered as we continue to write posts pertaining to it.
