I recently started adding coffee ice cubes to my coffee and I will never be the same. Here are two reasons why coffee ice cubes will change your life.

Two Reasons Why Coffee Ice-Cubes Will Change Your Life & An Easy Latte You Can Make at Home
I know what some of you are probably thinking – another coffee-related post?
Well, even though we’re travel and lifestyle bloggers, coffee is one of the things that fuels us to keep going. We love coffee, visiting local coffee shops, and now that we’ve been spending a lot of time at home, I’ve been getting more creative with our coffee. In fact, one of the primary reasons why I started sharing my Coffee of the Day on Instagram is because it’s a comfort for me and gives me something else to look forward to in the morning.
As a result, we’re coming at you with anotha’ one (in my DJ Khaled voice), BUT this one is one that’s a little different than the others.
Recently after spending some time on Pinterest, I came across pins sharing about coffee ice cubes and why they’re so easy to make. I tried using some of the extra coffee I had left in the pot after it got a little cool, let it freeze overnight and then tried for the first time and y’all – it’s a game-changer. Long gone are the days of watered-down iced coffee. I am surprised t’s taken me so long to try this.
Here’s a couple of reasons why I recommend using coffee ice cubes in your next iced coffee at home.

YOU GET MORE COFFEE FLAVOR
I am sure this is a given, but one of the biggest reasons why I have now been using coffee cubes when making my coffee from home is because it’s more robust in flavor.
Since you are using coffee in the place of ice cubes, you actually get more coffee in your drink. The more the iced cubes melt, the more additional coffee and coffee flavor you get in each cup. It’s one of my favorite things about using coffee cubes. I love the flavor of the coffees we use and now we get more of it. Since using coffee cubes for my coffee, I have not turned back since to iced coffee with regular ice at home.

IT’S A GREAT WAY TO USE LEFTOVER COFFEE
Regardless of how often I make coffee and how many times I’ve made it before, there’s still extra leftover. We usually end up enjoying a couple more cups of coffee, but there’s sometimes just a tiny bit left that isn’t quite enough for a full cup, but feels wasteful to throw away.
Now, I tend to use whatever coffee we have leftover in the pot, pour into the ice cube mold and freeze it overnight. It’s easy to do and is a nice way of making sure that no drop of coffee gets wasted.

SWEET CREAM CINNAMON LATTE

- Mix 2 tablespoons of sweet cream and a 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and a 1/2 a tablespoon of sugar (or sugar substitute) use frother or frothing method until it’s a thick consistency.
- Pour about a teaspoon of sweet cream at the bottom of your cup.
- Pour coffee into the mug on top of the sweet cream you’ve poured at the bottom of it.
- Gently add the frothed cinnamon oat milk mixture to the mug on top of the coffee.
