
Some of our most popular posts both on my previous blog and this one revolve around traveling on a budget and understandably so. For the most part, everyone enjoys getting to experience new things and new places, but not everyone has the money to do it or to do it often. I know that’s definitely true in our lives.
I think it can be easily assumed by the number of travel posts we’ve shared that we are wealthy. The truth is, we’re not. We’re not wealthy and we’re not experts, but we’re two people working in the social service and educational field, who enjoy finding ways to travel on a budget. We don’t have a lump sum of money that we’re using to travel and we are far from being millionaires.
So how do we manage to travel?
Well, we found out that one of the big ways to save money for traveling is through the planning process. It’s crazy how much your planning process can impact how much money you spend on a trip. Yes, it’s possible to save sometimes even hundreds of dollars by just considering a few simple things whilst planning for your trip. Once I figured out what some of those things were by trial and error, I know go by these tips I’m sharing with you to plan every trip we go on.
We’ve found a few things that have helped us save quite a bit of money during the planning process of our trips and now we’re going to share those tips that have worked so well for us – with you – for free.

It’s tips that to this day, we consider when I go through the process of booking tips, so they work well for us. It’s not tips that we created on a whim only to never use again.
