This is the last month of 2021, so we’re feeling pretty introspective as we commonly feel this time of year on our end. I know that each month we all have this millennial urge to say, “this year is flying by! It seems like just yesterday we were ringing in the new year,” but it does truly feel like that. Now just like that, another year is almost finished. I think the fact that we’ve had some pretty packed months and some things we’ve been praying a long time for has have made this year go by even faster. Do you feel like you accomplished everything you hoped for this year? If not, I hope you give yourself grace as it hasn’t been an easy year and we’re all doing the best we can given the circumstances. You’re hanging in there and you’re doing great, friend.
Personally, we’re continuing to hope and pray we receive the answer to the prayer that we’ve been praying and hoping for. We’re hoping everything works out the way we hope and that we have good news heading into the new year and beyond. Not much has changed on that front, but I’ve been seeing a lot of posts with the messages along the lines of “keep praying” and ” a lot can change in ____,” as well as some other little things that give me hope that the change we’re hoping for will come sooner than later.
Blog wise, there’s some preset packs I’ve been working on that I’m excited to finally share. My other half has been working on some posts he hopes to share in the next couple of months and we’re feeling pretty productive.
Anywho, here are some of the things we’ve enjoyed recently!
READING
We haven’t been reading much this month either. I know. I know. There’s been a lot going on, so we haven’t really had time to read for leisure.
LISTENING
We just finished the third season of “Up and Vanished” which was a lot better than the editing of the second season. I’m hoping it gets solved soon.
WATCHING
We finished “YOU” and finally got around to watching “A Train to Busan” together. It had been on the list of things to watch and we finally did.

I found this post about health benefits of honey to be really interesting.
recent Snapshots

- Tried Artesano Coffee for the First Time: Before heading to Morris Arboretum, we went to grab coffee at a spot we’ve passed so many times in Manayunk. We both really enjoyed our drinks and can see ourselves returning for another cup in the future.
- In the Room Where it Happened: We finally saw Hamilton and it was the best. It was just as incredible as you imagine it would be life and I enjoyed every minute of it. Here’s some proof we were in the “room where it happened.”
- Went to Le Cavelier for Dinner: As we mentioned in a previous post, we tried Le Cavalier for the first time together and it was so, so good. Probably the best meal we’ve had in a while that hasn’t been cooked by a family member.
- Went to Le Cavalier Again for Breakfast: It was THAT good.
